T HE BIBLE contains the story
of human creation in God's image,
of the origin of sin and its penalty of
death, of God's love for people even
though they sinned against Him, and
of redemption from sin and death—
SALVATION—through the sacrifice of
Jesus Christ on the cross.
I've published this tract to inform you
of God's promises for Salvation from sin
and death, and to share seven steps for
you to receive His LIFE.
God sent not His Son into the world to
condemn the world: but that the world
through Him might be saved. Jn.3:17
What does it mean to be saved? It
means to receive a new kind of Life from
God through faith in Christ. That Life is
generated in the heart of a person by a
life-transforming miracle.
The Bible describes that experience as
becoming a new creature, adding that, old
things pass away and everything becomes
new. 2Co.5:17
The apostle John described it as being
lifted out of death into a new Life. He
wrote: We know that we have passed from
death unto Life. 1Jn.3:14
A biblical Christian is a CHRIST-PERSON
who has experienced a re-birth by the
power of the Life of Jesus. It is a person
who has 1) come to God as a sinner, 2)
accepted the Lord Jesus Christ by faith,
3) honors Him as their Lord and Master,
4) confesses Him as such before the
world, and 5) strives to please Him in
their life.
If you have not accepted Jesus Christ
as your Lord and Master, then follow
these seven biblical steps.
1. REALIZE THAT YOU ARE A SINNER. All
have sinned, and come short of the glory of
God. Ro.3:23 If we say that we have no sin, we
deceive ourselves. 1Jn.1:8
2. BE SORRY FOR AND REPENT OF YOUR
SINS. The publican, standing afar off, would
not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven,
but smote upon his breast, saying, God be
merciful to me a sinner. Lu.18:13 For godly
sorrow works repentance to salvation.
2Co.7:10.
3. CONFESS YOUR SINS TO GOD. Whoever
covers their sins shall not prosper: but
whoever confesses and forsakes them shall
have mercy. Prov.28:13 If we confess our sins
to Him, He is faithful and just to forgive us
our sins, and to cleanse us from all
unrighteousness. 1Jn.1:9
4. FORSAKE YOUR SINS—TURN AWAY
FROM THEM. Let the wicked forsake their
ways, and the unrighteous their thoughts;
and let them return to the Lord, and He will
have mercy and will abundantly pardon.
Is.55:7 Put off the former life which is corrupt
according to the deceitful lusts. Eph.4:22 If
iniquity be in your hand, put it far away,
and let not

wickedness be in your life. Job.11:14
5. ASK FORGIVENESS FOR YOUR SINS. He
is the Lord Who forgives all of your iniquities.
Psa.103:3. God says, Come and let us reason
together; though your sins are as scarlet,
they shall be as white as snow; though
they are red like crimson, they will be as
wool. Isa.1:18 God has exalted Christ to be a
Prince and a Savior, to give repentance and
forgiveness of sins. Ac.5:31 Through Jesus is
preached to you the forgiveness of sins.
Ac.13:38 In HIM we have redemption through
His blood, even the forgiveness of sins.
Eph.1:7
6. CONSECRATE YOUR LIFE TO CHRIST.
Present your body a living sacrifice, holy,
acceptable unto God. Rom.12:1 You are a chosen
generation, and you should demonstrate
the praises of Him Who has called you out
of darkness into His marvellous light. 1Pet.2:9
I count all things but loss for the excellency
of Christ Jesus my Lord. Phil.3:8 I pray God
your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved
blameless. 1Thes.5:23
7. BELIEVE THAT GOD SAVES YOU BY HIS
GRACE. For by grace are ye saved through
faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the
gift of God: Not of works, lest anyone
should boast. Ep.2:8-9 It is the grace of God
that brings salvation. Tit.2:11 Being justified
by His grace, we are made heirs according
to the hope of Eternal Life. Tit.3:7 We believe
that through the grace of the Lord Jesus
Christ we are saved. Ac.15:11
THE NEW BIRTH is the spiritual transformation
of a person who believes the
gospel and who, by faith in God, receives
Jesus Christ into his or her life and resolves
to become His follower. IT IS A MIRACLE.
