FEED THE POOR - 25 CENTS FEED A CHILD - Day 5 of 40

God REPAYS the giver to the POOR...

Prov 19:17
He who has pity on the poor lends to the LORD,

And He will pay back what he has given.      NKJV

study word - lend in the KJV lendeth

lavah OT:3867 lavah (law-vaw'); a primitive root; properly, to twine, i.e. (by implication) to unite, to remain; also to borrow (as a form of obligation) or (caus.) to lend:KJV - abide with, borrow (-er), cleave, join (self), lend (-er).

unite, remain, to twine (or tie - sounds like covenant words) ... even to lend and borrow...to cleave and to join to

I see a promise here - the one who gives to the poor, the Lord ties Himself to the person, He cleaves (sticks to them) - He join Himself to them (He loves a cheerful giver)

and then He says inside this word....you gave to the poor - but I consider your GIVING TO THE POOR & NEEDY  a  LOAN TO ME - and OBLIGATION TO ME to GIVE BACK TO YOU .....

having PITY - WORD MEANING -  OT:2603 chanan (khaw-nan'); a primitive root [compare OT:2583]; properly, to bend or stoop in kindness to an inferior; to favor, bestow; causatively to implore (i.e. move to favor by petition):
KJV - beseech, fair, (be, find, shew) favour (-able), be (deal, give, grant (gracious (-ly), intreat, (be) merciful, have (shew) mercy (on, upon), have pity upon, pray, make supplication, very.

NOTICE THESE MEANINGS: mercy (on, upon), have pity upon, pray, make supplication,

SO THIS includes the prayer warriors, petionioners, intercessors, all manner of prayer and supplications ...... THE LORD CONSIDERS IT a GIVING TO THE POOR and NEEDY and an obligation to himself to repay, to cleave to, to stick with and pay back that person...

Do you suppose the lord is thinking to give back only to you what you have done?

Did He need to oblige Himself with this promise - to the person(s) who help, pray for, have pity, compassion, mercy on the poor???

KEY: Moses knew Gods ways - the children of Israel saw His acts.....

Moses knew god and what he would do - because he knew His ways - He could in reverence still enjoy Gods presence and fellowship...........

but the children of Israel stood off in fear and because of only seeing Gods acts and not intimately knowing Him - fell away repeatedly and were afraid

we need to give of ourselves....the bended knee, the bended heart, the open coffers.....because it is the nature of God....and leave the rest with Him...

He will cleave to us and not leave us or forsake us - He will take care of us....

lets give prayer to God for the poor and needy of his flock around the world - to see the hand of God come in provision and healthy sustaining provisions and for the expansion of the Kingdom of God.....
