O NE OF THE important statements
in the Bible is this: Without shedding
of blood there is no remission for
sin. He.9:22 God says, It is the blood that
makes an atonement for the soul. Lev.17:11
Jesus said, This is my blood which is
shed for the remission of your sins. Mt.26:28
In the beginning, God created
Adam and Eve without sin, placing
them in the Garden of Eden where
everything good and beautiful was
theirs. But they were forbidden to eat
of the tree of the knowledge of good and
evil. God said, In the day that you eat of
it, you will die. Gen.2:2 But Satan lied to
them saying, You will not die. Gen.2:4
They believed his lie, ate the forbidden
fruit (which was the original sin),
and were therefore banished from the
Garden of God's presence.
The Bible says, The soul that sins
shall die. Eze.18:4 When Adam and Eve
sinned, deterioration and death were
engendered in the human race. Rom.5:12
The prophet Isaiah said, Your iniquities
have separated between you and
your God, and your sins have hid His
face from you. Is.59:2 Paul, the apostle,
said, The wages of sin is death. Ro.6:23
People want peace with God and
search to find Him, but Jesus said,
Their heart is waxed gross, and their ears
are dull of hearing, and their eyes they
have closed; lest they should be converted,
and I should heal them. Mat.13:15
Sin blinds the way, preventing
people from finding peace with God.
Religious leaders in nations around
the world, constantly ordain rituals
and procedures in a search for divine
peace. People worship gods of wood
and stone. Others torture themselves.
Some dance themselves into a frenzy.
Others burn incense or kill animals or
fowls. Some chant long prayers before
idols. Millions make pilgrimages
to sacred places.
But none of these things can remove
sin or bring a person into relationship
with God. There is only one
way: The Blood of Jesus Christ, God's
Son, was shed for the remission of your
sins. Mat.26:28
For centuries people have groped
in darkness, searching for peace.
Why? Because God created humanity
in His own image and likeness, Gen.1:27
and they therefore long for fellowship
with Him. But the Bible says,
Your iniquities have separated between
you and your God, and your sins have
hid His face from you, that He will not
hear. Isa.59:2
People ask: "How can I know God?
How can I find peace with Him? How
can I be free of the guilt I carry in my
heart? Which road or which religion
should I follow? Is there a way for me
to have real peace with God?"
Yes! Jesus says, I am the way, the
truth and the life. Jn.14:6 He says, in essence:
"I gave my life and shed my
blood to ransom you from your sins
when I died in your place on the
cross. Accept my gift of eternal life.
Rom.6:23 Believe on me and I will impart
to you my life." He said, My peace I
give unto you. Jn.14:27
People without God are shipwrecked
and are in darkness. The
storm rages. Death is imminent,
unless help is received. People want
to know: Is there hope for me? And I
say: Yes! There is hope. Jesus Christ
is The Way. There is safety in Him.
My friend, trust in the sacrifice of
Christ to save you today. Jesus said,
This is my blood which is shed for the
remission of sins. Mat.26:28 Paul said, Being
justified by His blood, we shall be
saved. Rom.5:9
The Bible says: We are not redeemed
with silver and gold but with the precious
blood of Christ. 1Pet.1:18-19
Satan enslaved people through sin.
But when Christ gave His life to ransom
us from the dominion of sin, and
when He shed His blood to redeem
us, the price was paid for our salvation.
Our sins were purged forever.
You cannot redeem yourself from
sin. Only the blood of God's Son can
free you from the power of evil. Jesus
said, Only believe.
You will find His peace when you
believe what His Word says.
The Bible says, Now in Christ Jesus,
you who were far off [from God because
of your sins] are made near by the blood
of Christ. Eph. 2:13
Sin separates us from God, but Jesus
has paid the price to remove our
sins and now we are brought back to
God through the blood of His Son. If
we trust in His blood and believe it
was shed for us, we can stand in
God's presence again without fear or
condemnation. The Bible says, There
is therefore now no condemnation to
them which are in Christ Jesus. Ro.8:1
The blood of Jesus Christ justifies
us, which means that His death restores
us to God as though we had
never sinned. The Bible says, Being
now justified by His blood, we shall be
saved. Ro.5:9 That means we are made
clean and guiltless, restored to fellowship
with Him as His friends and
partners.
When we receive Christ, God only
looks on us through what Jesus paid
to ransom and to redeem us. He assumed
our guilt and suffered the
penalty that our sins merited.
The blood of Christ gives us peace.
The Bible says, He made peace through
the blood of His cross. Col.1:20 You can
never know real peace with God until
you trust His blood to purge your
sins and to give you a new life.
The blood of Christ cleanses us: The
Bible tells us, The blood of Jesus Christ,
God's Son, cleanses us from all sin. 1Jn.1:7
Not a few sins, but all sins, the terrible
sins and the small sins.
No one is too bad or too wicked.
No one is too evil or too unclean. God
is ready to pardon every sin and
make you clean and give you peace
with Him, if you will trust in the
blood of His Son now.
He says, I will forgive your iniquities,
and I will remember your sins no more.
Jer.31:34 That is His promise to you.
And when He forgives your sins, it
is His will that your sicknesses also
be healed. It is His will for you to
have peace in your soul and health in
your body today! He gives you His
new kind of life. Believe on Him and
trust Him right now to save you. May
God richly bless you!
