A big storm of starvation hit Haiti
Mud pie a terrible choice for a nation

aiti is the first black independent country in the world, with a population estimate about 8.000.000 people, is situated to 700 miles from Florida of United States of America. In this 21st century, this country is living in an extreme poverty. It is become so hard for this nation, so people in the more vulnerable zone begin to eat mud pies. For this month of February 2008, even five people died from starvation in a little locality in the department of North-West which called Baie de Henne.
Mud pie what is it?
It is very difficult to understand it; there is some thing you can't let come in your mind. May be some time you can just let your imagination go while a little bit and just thought, yeah… there are some place on the earth, there are people live in poverty, but never imagine creature of God like you can eat indigestible, Mud Pie. If some one is not from Haiti or if you never put your feet into this country. The "mud pie" is so called "Tè" in Haitian Creole, the equivalent in American English is supposed to "dust of the ground" or "Dry Mud". In fact, "Mud Pie" is a Biscuit of Mud, a rigid piece of mud. It is contents: dust of the ground, butter, salt, and water mixed together and exposed unto the sun, after a half of a day it is ready to be taken as breakfast. Mud pie, according some testimonies: it is a necessary evil, like the last poison to take to save their live, which is looking like a big contradiction. No isn't, it is a pure Haitian living reality in this 21st century. Nowadays, in the more vulnerable zone like Cité Soleil, Bel-Air, Cité démocratie, Cité Letènèl and so on, they eat it every day.
Why they should eat Mud Pie?
Not even one people can say, they ignore the danger they run to when they try to eat the Mud Pie. If they know. Why they should do that? Do they do not love themselves? Or they get back some advantage when they eat it? Thousand and thousand questions can pass throughout your mind. Yes, they know it is bad for their health and they really love themselves, but the point as they testify to us, it is the last choice for them, and if they not eat it, they will automatically depart this life, because they get anything else for eating. It is a relation of cause with effect. We do not even need eyeglasses to see it, if you just do a quick visit in Haiti, you will surprise to see it. The misery of this nation is visible, horrible and hard even to explain. The authorities, the member of the government, they not do anything to change the situation of this people. Contrary, they just ask to the people of this nation to look at them in eyes and they will look at the nation in eyes too, proof of irresponsibility. Today it is a nation devotes one self. That will be clear when you can know; more than half of this population lives with less than $2 US for a day. And you really need to know also to do a traditional Haitian cook with rice and beans and some creole sauce without meat; you will need more $15 US just for one meal. So, it looks again like a biggest challenge, but it is Haiti! You may have an idea of the misery of this people; you could conclude they live by miracle, yes they are. From far away let hear the voice of this nation lament. Unfortunately, this article can't describe even an iota of their tribulation. What they confront is worst than you can imagine and they really need a serious help.
Mud pies caused death
Mud pie is some thing very dangerous for the human body. As God said when He created the human kind. "…I have given every green herb for food"
Gen 1:30.The Creator did not commanded to the human kind to eat mud pie or any unpalatable stuff. Even before Mud Pie became in vogue in Haiti as weapon to resist the hunger, it was already caused big problem for pregnant women, and many people was already got into the ablation rooms in the Haitian hospital for the sake of eating the "mud pie". Furthermore, some of them even died after they got a very short and miserable pain in belly. A doctor explain to us mud pie produced a disease called appendicitis. It is an inflammation of the vermiform appendix caused by uneatable stuff, especially "Mud pie".
